The original podcasting Maverick!
Yep, we're back! American Idol has been revamped and we're ready to talk about the new format, the new contestants, and, well, you know how Ramble Redhead is...
This week, we talk about the all-new "Rush Week" for American Idol, where we get to hear the Top 10 guys and Top 10 Girls and decide which five will likely go home.
Oh, and a quick note to Nicole From Nowhere: I'm really very sorry...
In this rebroadcast of a live show I did on Pride48.com, I take a look back at the high points and a couple of learning experiences in 2013. It gets personal, but then again, that's why we call these "personal journals."

Wishing everybody a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Once again, I got the opportunity to fill in on Pride48.com when Gay Country Wes was not able to do his live show. Also, I had only a few minutes to think about what I wanted to talk about.
Between watching "The Quarterback" episode of Glee--where they memorialize Finn/Corey Monteith--and reading the Wayne Muller book, *How Then Shall We Live?", I realized that was where I needed to go. Approaching the question of what one would do with the finite amount of time they have on the earth is not as morbid as one would think. It's kinda exciting, actually, and I do my best to go there...

In my final installment of the series about my trip to Pride 48 2013 in Las Vegas, I back up to tell one more story from Saturday, then I talk about Sunday's events and my sad departure Monday morning.
Going to Pride 48 was one of the major highlights of my life, and an experience I won't forget any time soon. I am already committed to being there next year, and I look forward to seeing you--yes, I'm looking at you--there next year.
